Excellent Reliable and Fast Memory

The 16GB mark is what I call marketing gigabytes. Actual amount available once installed into my Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2 is 15183.22MB. No big deal because it is still a huge amount of space.

I guess I didn't really need the fasted memory, but I like to have bragging rights and I like to make sure I never run into memory writing lag when copying music and recoding movies.

This item is super small. It is hard to believe one can fit 16GB of data onto it. It comes with an adapter to allow you to plug it into a USB port. I haven't used it though. I just connect my phone directly to my computer and copy to and fro that way.

I have always had very good luck with SanDisk SD memory products. This one is no exception. It is very fast and very reliable. I highly recommend it.
2 became corrupted Cards

Reviewer: T. Poon,
To be fair, when it works, the card is fast (definitely a real class 4 == 4MB+ write speed).

However, The first card I bought came Death on arrival. It was corrupted and not usable when opened from sealed retail package, because it lost the Master Boot Record and cannot be formatted correctly. Fortunately, Amazon took care of it and sent me a replacement right the way, even before I mailed the bad one back.

The replacement card came and worked fine for 1.5 months. By beginning of June, it became corrupted for the same reason. This time, I have to deal with Sandisk. I mailed the card to them and record shows that they recieved it by June 12th. But it took 1.5 months for me to receive my replacement on July 22nd.

Now, I am crossing my fingers and hoping this 3rd card would not go bad...
