This card is speedy enough for my tastes. Shooting w/ my Nikon D70s in burst mode: I can record 3fps (frames per second) in raw for the first four shots and average 1.5 sec between shots thereafter (by comparison, my extreme IV 2 GB card gets 5 shots off at 3fps and averages 1.0 sec between additional shots). If I shoot with the transcend card in the maximum jpeg setting the results are even better: 3fps for the first 11 shots and 0.9 sec between shots thereafter.

I was able to read 786mb off the card in 48sec (51sec with extreme IV) using my sandisk extreme usb reader. Writing 786mb to the card from my computer (which I never do) was, however, slow: 105sec compared to 57sec with extreme IV.
Huge space, great price

I use this with the Canon EOS 40D and it works perfectly with all functions, including continuous shooting. Massive storage for long trips or shooting sessions. People argue not to put all your eggs in one basket and to buy several smaller cards. I think this is bunk! If these cards work to begin with they will continue to work unless damaged by the user. This is only going to happen outside the camera or while inserting and removing, so switching smaller cards frequently will only increase your chances of damage!
Hard drive in my front pocket

One of my better recent purchases like having a second hard drive in my laptop. Allows me to work from anywhere without the laptop since it's a virtual pc in my pocket. Great price and okay speed transfers make this a good buy. I only seeing about 30gb but with most card and hard drives you never really get the listed amount either.
A MUST HAVE for Photographers and Novices a like

Monsterous amount of space, FAST and INEXPENSIVE. I have used these cards, yes I have more then one and I have used them in Nikon D200, Olympus Camedia 8080 and others and it comes close to many of the SanDisk Extreme III cards in speed and beats some others. Regardless of that you have the ability to take thousands of photos on one card and for $30 give or take when you search for it online. I recommend it and if you get via Amazon you usually have the option to return it if you have problems. Always check the return policies where ever you purchase items, especially through other sellers whom do not often have a similar easy and wide ranging return policy like amazon.
Great value and performance in Canon 40D

I use this card in my Canon 40D DSLR and think it's great. I was a bit skeptical when I purchased this card due to its low price, but it has proven itself plenty fast enough for my camera and most likely for any camera that's not UDMA-compatible (and even then, I can't imagine needing more speed). I shoot in RAW+JPEG mode, so my average photo file size is around 15MB, and this card doesn't slow me down even when shooting action at 6.5 frames per second. That's more stress than most cameras will ever demand from their card.
