I use this card in my Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 digital camera and it works as expected, storing pictures and HD video without a problem. The actual available space is around 30gb, which is more than I expected based on previous SD card and hard drive experience.
SD cards are a bit of a commmodity nowadays but I feel the extra expense of a well-known brand is worth it. |

I used to do some photography way back and remember how I could shoot photos fast. For the longest time I though digital technology would never get there, perhaps a limitation of the CCD technology. But apparently the cameras are generally ready to go... generally it's the SD cards that seem to be the weakest link. I put this class 6 head to head with a class 4 and there was a notable difference.
Pro:
+ Large capacity hours of video, thousands of photos
+ Lock switch on the side to prevent accidental erasure
+ Solid construction
+ Came with a case to keep it clean
+ FAST and responsive!!!
Con:
- These are small, as expected, but I get the cold sweats sometimes because I spent like $80 on this little postage stamp and there's no place to attach a string or chain to the case
- No stickers to label it
Bottom line: Highly recommended!! Would purchase another. |
Can't beat Class 6 speed.

| Didn't really understand the difference between a Class 2 and a Class 6 SDHC card until I got this one. For my Canon camcorder, this card worked great. Better than the write, is the read speed. Much better than my other Class 2 card, even inside my camcorder. |

| I've always been a big Vertbatim fan and this card doesn't let me down. It's at the fastest class and largest size - and was perfect for our video camcorder. Working with files and transferring them, I feel like I'm working on a hard drive. This is just a phenomenal deal on SD memory. |
Fast for the money SD card.

I currently have three of these cards, two 16GB (class 6) and one class 4. My Canon SX20is currently has one of the class 6 units in it and it performs great. It powers up to ready very quickly, time between shots are quick and the HD videos record and play back without problems. They all speed test well within their ratings too. I found them both here on Amazon at great prices. The dealer that I got one from sent me a class four by mistatke and they made good on the sale very quickly. I was impressed. They explained the reason for the accident and it was perfectly understandable. Now I use that class 4 in a pocket camera recently gotton and keep the class 6's for my SX20.
So far, there have been no problems with any of these cards, no lost pics, etc and the videos play great right off of the card.
I've been using Verbatim products for years and have never had a problem with defects. They've always been a quality brand in my book so to speak.
16GB's is the way to go IMHO. It's affordable without going overboard and it holds a boatload of pictures without having to transferring them off very soon. |
